We began planning this project in January of 2023, just as the post-pandemic world started to take shape. We asked ourselves: What do we need to express to the world right now? How can we spread joy through our creative work? This discussion led to our theme of “uplifting.” The final visual depicts people of various races, ages, and genders smiling as they are heading towards a beautiful future. Colorful brushstrokes throughout the image represent all the possibilities behind Shiseido’s dream of diverse beauty. We hope that everyone will discover their true beauty and fill the world with joy. Our visual reflects this wish.
